En fin de semaine, j'ai tricoté ces petites bottines pour un bébé à venir. J'ai utilisé ce patron et cette laine. La patron dit d'utiliser de la laine plus petite (sport), mais j'ai utilisé de la worsted. Donc, j'ai monté 25 mailles au lieu de 31, puis j'ai joué avec les chiffres pour que ça fonctionne tout le long. J'ai tricoté les rangs 1-8 en vert, 9-18 en brun (j'ai fait deux rangs de moins que demandé, donc j'ai sauté les rangs 16-17). Et j'ai fini avec le vert.
Le résultat: elles ont 3.6'' de long et elles s'étirent jusqu'à 4''.
This weekend, I knitted those littles booties for a baby not born yet. I used this pattern and this yarn. The pattern call for sport weight yarn but I used worsted weight. to be sure it will fit a newborn foot, I casted-on 25 stitches instead of 31 and played with the numbers along the way. I worked rows 1-8 in green, 9-18 in brown (knitted 2 rows less than in the pattern = skip 16-17). And to the end in green.
Result: 3.6'' long, and it stretches up to 4''.
