The cats on the hat

Temple cats
Yarn/Laine: Malabrigo merino worsted

I used only used 44g of the main color and 22g of the contrasting color, so I will have enough yarn left to make a baby sweater.

I heard a lot about the softness of this yarn, and everything was true. It's extremely soft (the single ply help) and pleasant to knit with. Moreover, the stranded knitting keeps all the softness inside the hat, as the ears doesn't touch knitted fabric, but strands of yarn held beside the colowork.

I made the medium size hat, to fit my little sister head.

So she could play in the snow with us, and still be warm.

Here is some pictures of the Duparquet lake, always so beautiful.
